The Hiring Process
Administrative Positions

Candidates for administrative positions should:

1. Download Administrative Application forms which consists of a "Background Information" page and a "Voluntary Affirmative Survey"

2. Answer all the questions on the "Background Information" page and sign.

3. Submit with

A letter of application and a current resume
If applicable, a copy of your Maine administrator certification. If you are not currently certified in Maine and need further information regarding Maine certification requirements, check the Department’s website, www.state.me.us/education. Information about the certification process can be accessed by clicking "Certification" from the site index or you may contact the Certification Office at:

All offers of employment are contingent on eligibility for appropriate Maine certification.
An official college or university transcript(s). If currently unavailable, attach a copy of your transcripts in the interim..
Three (3) letters of reference.
